API 47-085-10363, Clay district, Ritchie County. What the state survey records for this well, what is happening around it, and what none of that says about who owns the minerals beneath it.
Opens the map centered on the recorded surface location, with the tax district the counts below use outlined and the parcels around it. For a horizontal well the lateral runs underground away from that point, and the survey does not draw that path.
Through month 6 of 2026, the operator reported 194 MMcf of gas, 81 barrels of oil, and 9,460 barrels of natural gas liquids from this well (ANTERO RESOURCES CORPORATION). Since 2019 the state has 8.3 Bcf of gas and 36,981 barrels of oil on record for it over 8 reporting years.

At Antero Resources’s own reported gas price for the quarter, $2.66 per Mcf before hedges, that quarter’s gas sold for roughly $280,000 gross, about $92,000 a month. Every figure in this section is for one quarter, three months of production, unless it says otherwise. An estimate from open records, not a figure from anyone’s books.

The surface parcel is the county assessor’s record of who owns the land at the marker. Minerals are often severed from the surface and held by someone else; the parcel is a place to start in the deed index, not an answer.
One API number can carry several records: the original location, a deviated location, a recompletion, a plugging. The page summary above uses the most recent.
In Clay district of Ritchie County the survey lists 44 permits not yet completed and 7 wells completed since 2025. The largest permit holder in the district is Antero Resources Corporation with 20.

Is a cousin on this lease too? Inherited interests are usually shared among relatives. Send them the page; nothing about you travels with it.
164 wells completed since 2016 and 52 permits outstanding in this county. The operator page shows every county, the formations it targets, and news that names it.
Compare the API number and the operator. The survey records the operator at completion and the current producing operator when they differ; your statement shows whoever pays you now. If the lease name differs, that is common: operators rename units. If the API number is not here at all, say so in a case and a researcher checks the regulator's records.
Not necessarily. The mineral owner field is what the operator listed when it filed, and the interest may have been sold, divided, or passed through an estate since. It is exactly the kind of lead a free screening follows into the county records.
Yes. Enter your email in the watch box on this page. Every Monday you get one email with the well's operator and status, the newest production the state has for it with the change from the month before, any permit activity on it, and the county report. Same-day alerts for a status or operator change are planned. Watching a well is never treated as interest in selling.

The survey updates its database from state permit and completion records on its own schedule and does not guarantee completeness. This site re-reads it daily; the current year is always partial.
